Cadillac Repair: A/C question., vacuum leak, vacuum line

Hi,  I have a Cadillac 87 Sedan Deville. The airconditioner only blows out air from the floor. Nomatter how I adjust the controls, I can t seem to get it to come out the dash vents. Isn t that where it should blow out?

Your problem is that you have a vacuum leak in the vacuum line that comes from the engine compartment into the dash area.

Look in the engine compartment and find a small black plastic hose that gose thru the firewall and follow it in the engine compartment until you find where it is broken at.
