Cadillac Repair: 1989 Cadillac Deville Suspension Repair, cadillac deville, pot hole

I have a 1989 Cadillac Deville and I guess one day my girlfriend said she hit a pot hole now the rear passenger tire tilts so I took it to the shop and they told me that it looks like my trunk rusted away where the struts mount do you have any advise on how to repair it?

 Thats a first,did you inspect the damage yourself?if the upper supports in the body are rotted and the strut went through,i can only think that a body shop would have to weld in a new support to the body,this can be pretty labor intensive,depending on how much damage is caused by the rust it can be anywere from welding a plate into the the support or replacing that whole section,take a look at the damage yourself to see how much there is.if you need more help let me know.Thanks
