Cadillac Repair: inside lights go on and off, climate control, relay center

this just started last night. my 92 eldorado was parked and I noticed the inside courtesy lights would come on for about a minute then go back out. this cycle continued all night long. I drove the car this morning and everthing seemed ok, till I parked it. a few minutes after I took the key out the lights started cycling again.
any help.

It could be a short in any of the lamp circuits that come ON when you open the door which activates the (DIL) Delayed Interior Lamp Relay located in the instrument panel relay center under the dash.

Or it could be a faulty (DIL) relay.

FIRST you have to access the diagnostic codes via the climate control panel of which you will need the diagnostic pictures and procedures out of the service manual in order to obtain the correct CODE in order to perform the code diagnostics procedure to find your problem.
