Cadillac Repair: 1994 Sedan deVille wont pull, linkage problem, pressure gage

Question
My 1994 Sedan deVille will not pull in any gear, forward or reverse.  The problem arose suddenly, it did not slip or stumble beforehand. The fluid is full and in good condition. The linkage is attached and original.  My check engine light is not on and the only message on the DIC is Service Ride Control.
It seems that nothing is out of order, but it won't pull. I know that the computer controls the transmission, so could a faulty sensor render my transmission inoperable?  What is your take on this problem?

Answer
Without being able to put a pressure gage on the transmission and or being able to FEEL what the trans is doing, It could be numerous problems.

Could be a torque converter stator failure or a linkage problem or numerous other possibilities.

You will need to have a competent reliable facility perform some diagnostic tests on it.
