Cadillac Repair: Valve cover gasket, valve cover gasket, resistant silicone

It is a gasket made of heat resistant silicone.  I will order it for my car.  It's on ebay. Here is the details from the ad:
The brand name is Apex. It's a new type silicone rubber gasket.
It is brand new and still in sealed package. It contains upgraded silicone rubber valve cover gasket, valve cover grommets (11 pcs), and spark plug tube seals. This set contains the gasket and seals necessary for replacing the valve cover gasket.

Buyer needs to pay $7 for shipping and handling anywhere in USA. California resident needs to pay the sale tax. I will accept Paypal, money order, cashier check or personal check. If you are paying by Personal Check, please allow me 5-10 days for check to clear before shipment.

Question -
Not sure if you can help me, but it seems everyone is maxed out and there aren't any experts in my type of car.  (Nissan Altima)  It needs a valve cover gasket and I would like to know if the Apex brand of high tempurature silcone gasket a good brand?

Personally I prefer to use a GASKET instead of silicone.

However, If you want to use silicone, Yes, APEX is a quality silicone to use.

The only things you have to be VERY CAREFUL about is that the gasket is the one that you need for your EXACT YEAR, MAKE,MODEL and ENGINE SIZE. Also HOW LONG has this gasket been sitting around in his garage on the shelf ?. All rubber components deteriorate as they get older.

Did you call some auto parts places such as AUTOZONE, NAPA, CHECKERS, PEP-BOYS and get their price ?. I WOULD.
