Can you please help me? My cadillac's air condition is blowing but it is not cold and the heating unit doesn't get hot. And when i crank the car the belt makes a loud continuous noise.

Is the belt turning all of the devices that the belts drives ?.

If you spray some SILICONE aerosol spray on the belt does the noise go away ?.

We need to establish IF the belt is actually turning the components FIRST.

Is the vehicle overheating ?.
