I have a 1995 Cad Deville I changed the engine.  I put a 1994 Northstar 4.6 engine in, in which it had a 1995 Northstar 4.6 engine. When I try to start it, it won't start the dash reads: anti-theft security wait 3 minutes. Then it counts them down, and then say's start car but still a repeat of the same thing.  Tell me what can I do to correct this to start this car.  thank you  Dorsey
Answer -
Unfortunately I cannot give out security by-pass procedures and or this type of information. as I have no way of knowing if you are the owner of the vehicle or NOT. Giving out such delicate information can make it much easier for someone to start stealing cars.

Have your local Cadillac dealer perform the work.

autohelp That  would be rather stupid of me to ask  for imformation to steal a car, when I gave imformation about me really bright would you think? But as I found out from the dealer no, thanks to you there are reasons why the anti-thief would be engaged.  But thanks for nothing genus

Answer
I do NOT give out this kind of information. PERIOD. If you can't figure out why I would give out this information of which you could pass onto someone else and they pass it on to someone else it would make disabling the system very simple and make it much easier for someone to steal a vehicle.

With your attitude you just made my DO NOT ANSWER LIST, So next time you want information about your vehicle, Don't ask as you won't get an answer.

I am sure the cadillac dealer was very happy to give you all the information to fix your problem for FREE.

Oor did they tell you to bring it into their service department so they can charge you $100.00 per hour to diagnose and fix the problem ?
