the stop engine temp. light on dash came on and will not go out,ive already disconnected the sensor located on the left side of the engine with the two light green wires,please help.

Hi Dan, Unfortuneatly I don't have a manual that goes back that far. I remember something about a sensor that is located at the passenger front of the engine eithor on the cylinder head or block that might be the metal temp switch. It is kind of undernieth the a/c compressor by the emmissions pipe. At this point what you need to determine is if the engine is really overheating or the switch is bad. You might try posting this question with auto help as he goes back alittle further is repair years than I do. Sorry I can't be any more help than that. Bill
