Cadillac Repair: problem with gauges, speed signals, ground connector

Hi Bill,
I understand that I dont have a caddy but some car have like issues,and everyone else box was full. I just boughta 93 voyager/caravan 3.3v6 all gauges including odometor, speedometer,tach,etc dont work. any ideas. fuses have been check

Hi Mark, After looking at the trouble trees for the van if the fuses are good and speed related items aren't working then there is a relearn procedure for the computor that might need to be done. Also it recommends scanning for codes and useing a scan tool see if the computor is sending out speed signals. Since all the fuses are good there might be a ground that became disconnected but the diagrams are very difficult to read and not very complete so I couldn't even begin to tell you where to look for the ground connector. If you had the van in for a repair recently then maybe rechecking the areas that were worked on might discover the problem. My suggestion would be to get up alittle bit earlier tomorrow and post the question with the Dodge/Plymoth/Chrysler techs because I am not comming up with anything. Sorry I can't be of any more help.
