Cadillac Repair: opera light, fleetwood brougham, hemmings motor news

I have a 91 caddy fleetwood brougham with the opera light outside between front and rear door on drivers side that needs to be replaced.  I do have the part number but it is discontinued and tried all the junkyards in south philadelphia.  I am at wits end trying to find one and the shadier side of me is coming out because there is a caddy same make and model that is in the next township from me and would be so much easier just to lets say borrow it from that car.  But first, I thought I would give you a try to at least guide me  to a place where I could pick one up?

Hi Louise, Glad to hear you have alittle more scruples although its tempting sometimes. 2 places to try. Google over to junkyarddog.com and enter the info required and you will get emails as to how much one will cost. And the other is a magazine called Hemmings Motor News. It can be seen at the bigger libraries in the magazine section or go to the bigger book stores and get a copy. In it they have people that advertise discontinued car parts. Hope one of those helps.
