Cadillac Repair: pullei on the front of the engine, tensioner pulley, sevelle

there is a pullie on the front of the moter that just broke tonight. this is the pullie right above the crank pullie. I need to know how to replace it and how it comes off the moter. This is on a 1992 Cadillac Sevelle front wheel drive with 4.9L. v8.

Hi Paul, The pulley that is above the cranksft pulley is the tensioner pulley and usually it is sold at a unit...pulley with tensioner assembly. Usually an 18mm wrench does the trick to remove the nut after the belt is off. Then use a breaker bar to pull back against the tensioner to install the belt. Hope that is the one you menmt. Bill
