Cadillac Repair: 93 Cadillac Sedan deville turn signal, cadillac sedan deville, fuse panel

Question
The turn signal suddenly stopped working.  When you push the arm the lights on the dash display do not light and no relay sound is heard. However, the left and right side lights on the outside still work. In diagnosing, the hazards work fine including on the dash display and the relay sound is heard.  On the outside of the car all the signal lights are working.  The fuses are fine as well

It seems like there is perhaps a switch or a relay of some kind is not working.  Is there something simple that needs to be replaced?

Answer
If NONE of the normal TURN SIGNALS work when you put the lever to the RIGHT or to the LEFT and NO turn signal indicators or any lights on the front and rear of the vehicle also do not illuminate (flash) this is a sign of a faulty TURN SIGNAL FLASHER.

Go to any auto parts store, buy a new one and you will be able to see what you need to replace on the vehicle. Usually located under the dash to the left side of the steering column on a small bracket all by itself.

It is NOT in the fuse panel.
