My Transmission will not go into 3rd/overdrive. Everything else seems to work fine. I had the fluid and filter changed and this did not seem to help. I added a container of Lucas stop slip and this did not seem to help. This started when driving home and it slipped out of drive to neutral at around 40 mph but would return once the speed dropped off. We have owned the car for several years and it has been served regularly by the dealer and we have never had any transmission problem till this point. The car has 100K miles now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Bob, Your trans is electronically shifted and you possably have a bad shift solinoid eithor A or B and through testing you can determine which one it is. If one is bad it might be a good idea to replace them both. It might be best to have a shop do the checks and replacement. Bill
