Cadillac Repair: 91 Cadillac engine light codes, refrigerant system, input problem

Question
Hi! My Cadillac (91 Sedan DeVille)has the engine service light come on and the codes that I get are E27,  E90,  and F48. Do you know what these codes mean? Thank you!!!

Answer
Hi John, Yes I know what they mean and here is their descriptions.
E27: open throttle switch circuit
E90: VCC brake switch input problem
F48: A/C refrigerant system problem
A single E or F means a problem that happened or was set while someone worked on the car and didn't clear the codes when they were done. EE or FF mean there is a problem right now. I would clear the codes and if one of them resets then do some tests to determine what is wrong. Bill
