Cadillac Repair: battery no charge warning light 95 Cadillac Deville, cadillac deville, message light

what does a   " battery no charge "  message light mean ?   I bought a used Cadillac so have no paper work concerning battery.....car is running great and when I test battery , it's showing fully charged...

Hi Dave, Usually that means that the alternator isn't charging the battery like its supposed to or a diode in the alternator is bad. In any event get the battery and charging system tested and if its ok then you will need to have the light circuit tested for a short. Bill
