How much time and for what amount would it take to replace a water pump on a '96 Cadillac Sedan deville?

Hi Lisa, According the all-data labor time guide they show 1hour 43minuits and $73 for the pump. Then if you needed anti-freeze figure $10 and $5 for seal tabs. Most places like to flush out the old anti freeze when a new pump is installed so maybe $69 for that. I would allow 4 hours to do the job as a minumum time that the car would be at the shop. So around $264 might be an average price. The price of the pump and the labor rate will affect the the total bill depending upon what shop does the work. Hope that helps. Bill
