Cadillac Repair: Auto Leveling System, rear struts, fuse block

Question
I went out to my garage for something and I heard the auto level system running.  I thought it stopped after a while but I was wrong.  Because later I came out and it wouldn't start.  Even later it took out the battery.  So I get a new battery.  Drive it home and the auto level system hasn't stopped running yet.  I went to owners manual and removed fuse 12 from first underdash fuse block.  That didn't fix it.  Then I found the Interior relay center access.  I tried removing the proper one, but couldn't tell.  I removed all the relays (and fuses) one at a time while replacing them back if it didn't stop the auto leveling.  None of them did.  I need to disconnect the auto leveling system, until I have the money to get it repaired.  How can I do this?  What fuse do I need to pull?  PS I searched this site first for anything that might have already been wrote on the subject.

Answer
Hi David, Since you didn't give a year or model of car then there are 3 things you can do...first is look under the rear by the control arms and see if the link for the height sensor is still attached. It could be off or rusted causing the sensor to think the car is low...check the rear struts that an air line didn,t come off...find the air compressor under the hood or on eldos and sevilles they might be under the car by the gas tank. Disconnect the 4 wire connector and that will keep the pump from running the battery down until you find the fuse or relay. Hope that helps and if you need more specific info for a fuse or relay location then repost with the year and model vehicle. Bill
