Cadillac Repair: signal lights, cadillac deville, turn signals

When I try to use my left and right turn signal it is working very slowly and sometimes stops.  Do you know what could cause this?  I have a 89 cadillac deville and never had this problem before last week. Also I tried my emergency lights and they work fine.

Hi Marti, Fortunately the flasher is still making noise and it will be easier to find. The turn signals and emergency lights use a differant flasher thats why one blinks normal and the other slow or not at all. Look under the steering column area and when you find the flasher then replace it and your lights should be blinking at normal speed again. You will need a 7mm socket wrench to get the panel out of the way below the steering wheel. Bill
