Cadillac Repair: heater/AC control head - 81 Eldorado, hemmings motor news, hemmings motor news magazine

I'm looking for the heater/AC control head for my '81 Eldorado. It generates the diagnostic read-outs. The rear window defogger operates on a separate switch independent of the control head, so the control head that I'm looking for can NOT have an integrated rear window defogger. Can you point me in the right direction?  I've found some here in Canada, but they all have the defogger built into them, and won't work. I think this Eldorado was assembled in Oklahoma.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Bob, Go to www.junkyarddog.com and enter the information they need and hopefully someone can help you out. Otherwise in the Hemmings Motor News magazine they have a section with Cadillac parts for sale. Maybe they have the control head you need. Hope that helps. Bill
