Cadillac Repair: 1992 Cadillac Seville A/C Fan Operation, cadillac seville, 1992 cadillac seville

When I first operate the car each morning, everything is fine. After dirving a short distance to work and stopping, the A/C fan will not start again the rest of the day. The next morning is a repeat all over again. The compressor appears to be working fine and the system cools when operating. Any suggestions?

Hi Jack, You will need to test for battery voltage and a good ground at the blower motor with the wire connector unplugged. If it shows battery voltage but the motor is inop. then replacing the motor should do the trick. If not then you will need to grab a wiring diagram and start tracing the circuits and see where the power stops or what controls the voltage and replace that part. It could be a relay or module or motor but without testing you won't know for sure. Bill
