Cadillac Repair: electric windows, auto parts store, electric windows

Question
On my windows, there is a plastic clip that keeps the window straight when operating. This clip attaches on both sides of the glass in the upper, outer-most corner of the glass. The window glass has a hole in it to hold this clip in place. As you might have guessed, it's worn out. I need to replace it (if I can find one ) and need to know how to fit it back in place.  I am hoping you can help......    Chuck

Answer
Hi Chuck, Once you undo the snap in the center of the clip with a small flatblade screwdriver or break the snap then you can match one up at the auto parts store in their Help section or maybe the dealer has it in stock. Then it is a matter of snapping it in the hole and then push the glass with the clip into the track. Unless your fingers are strong a small c-clamp works well to close the clip at the snap. Bill
