Cadillac Repair: 95 Cadillac Sedan DeVille failed e-check, cadillac sedan deville, drivability

Question
I live in GA and must get a yearly e-check. Last year the car failed the e-check on NO. The repair shop pressure cleaned the injectors and replaced the CAT for it to pass. Before the test this year, I replaced the plugs, wires, cap rotor, oil, filter and added Restor to the oil. It failed NO again (1550; 750 allowable). The EGR valve would not hold a vacuum so I replaced it. On retest, it failed again on NO (940; 750 allowable). What should I do now? The car has 70,000 miles.

Answer
Hi Joe, I would take your car to a differant shop because this one doesn't know enough about Cadillacs to repair them. With all the parts you replaced a sharp drivability tech should be able to access the computor and find the problem that you and the other shop missed. Bill
