Cadillac Repair: 1993 Cadillac DeVille, cadillac deville, foot on the gas

The car runs okay as long as we don't come to a stop light.  Then it dies and the lights in the panel come on.  Is this a fuel system problem?  Thank you.

Hi Anna, Unfortuneatly there are several things that could cause this and fuel is only one of them. If you recently changed the car battery there is an idle learn procedure that needs to be done or the idle could be slow like yours or hold your speed at 30mph without you even haveing your foot on the gas. Sounds like it would be best to have a shop famillar with Caddy repairs look at it and repair the problem . Sorry I can't be more help. Bill
