Cadillac Repair: leaking oil, engine oil cooler, caddy

Question
Hi Bill,
I have a 1991 Caddy (Deville) thats leaking oil.
I looked underneath the car and can see that
it's coming from a hose(with a crimped metal
like clamp)leading to the bottom of the radiator
(driver side). The hose does'nt have a hole in it
& it seem to be leaking at the crimped section
It leaks as I'm driving and when parked it
leaves a puddle approx. 4" dia.
Can you help me?

           Thanks Charles

Answer
Hi Charles, That is an engine oil cooler hose and what has happened is due to vibration the aluminum may have cracked or the hose crimp is leaking. In any event you should have someone replace the 2 lines before it ruptures and you loose the engine or get stranded somewhere. Bill
