Cadillac Repair: 1984 fleetwood 4.1, crankshaft pulley, head bolts

Question
Im trying to replace the water pump the problem is there is a large pulley below the power steering pump that i do not know how to remove.
do i need a puller?please advise Bill

Hi Carl, There are 2 pulleys that must be removed. The power steering pulley requires a remover and an installer. Some auto parts stores have loaner tools if you don't want to buy them. The crankshaft pulley must also be removed but all you need to do is remove the 4 13mm head bolts and leave the center one alone and it will come off. Hope that helps. Bill
