my gas pedal does not work is there a sensor I can change

No sir the accelerater is connected to the throttle by a cable or rod linkage check for it to be pluged up and then if it blocked by any thing by the carb or thottle body if not look inside the carve or thottle body to see if it blocked or bent also if you are just losing power upon acceleration it could be the kickback cable not being hooked up or adjusted correctly
