Chevrolet Repair: 1988 k 15000 tbi problem, regulator problem, pressure regulator

QUESTION: HI I have a 88 k15000 350 5.7. It has been sitting in my garage a long time. i dropped the tank and cleaned it . installed a new fuel pump and sending unit and a new fuel filter yesterday.It is getting gas to TBI but injector on driverside fills mix chamber with gas and completely over flows.pulled out injectors replaced faulty drivers side unit with another new replacement same result. do know why this would be happening? pulled plugs fired engine over to get fuel out of top end as not to hydro lock with fuel in cyclinders yes there was that much gas pouring down intake. left plugs out to let fuel evaporate over night. will resume this morning please advise

ANSWER: GOOD MORNING DOUG, THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD CAUSE THIS IS THE PCM IS HOLDING THE INJ OPEN. THIS IS USUALLY CAUSED BY A FAULTY INJ. BUT YOU REPLACED THAT..JUST FOR A TEST, UNPLUG THE HARNESS TO THE LEAKY INJ AND SEE IF THIS STOPS THE FUEL. IF NOT THE INJ IS STILL THE CAUSE. VERY RARE FOR A NEW INJ TO BE BAD ,BUT CK IT TO BE SURE..SO MY NEXT TASK IF THIS IS NOT THE PROBLEM,CK THE WIRING HARNESS TO MAKE SURE NO MICE ATE THREW IT AND SHORTING IT OUT. HAVE SEEN THIS MANY TIMES...IF HARNESS ALL LOOKS GOOD.TIME FOR A USED PCM OR REBUILT ONE FROM YOU LOCAL PARTS STORE. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT YOU WILL NOT NEED TO FLASH THIS NEW PCM..LET ME KNOW HOW THIS GOES..GOOD LUCK TO YOU,,,TOM..

QUESTION: even with the power wire s off of the injectors when powered up but not started, the bowl fills with a rush of gas. do you feel this could be a pressure regulator problem. no signs of chewing in engine bay all looks good.your advice is greatly appreciated merry christmas

MORNG DOUG,SO YOU ARE SAYING THE HARNESS PLUG IS REMOVED FROM THE INJ AND GAS IS STILL COMING THREW THE INJS ?? IF I READ THIS CORRECT THE INJ IS STUCK OPEN..INJ IS DEFECTIVE !!!!THIS INJ IS NOT CLOSING,, A REG WILL NOT CAUSE THIS..LET ME KNOW HOW YOU MAKE OUT...TOM..
