Chevrolet Repair: Dim brake lights, no turn signal, and no interior lights, cadillac sls, dim side

Hello, I have a 96 Cadillac SLS w/106,000 miles. I have a problem w/ my wiring I assume. My right brake lights are dim, because I took out the brake light bulbs and had my son step on the brake and 1 of 2 of the filaments in the bulbs shine. I did the same procedure for the left brake lights and both filaments shined. I don't know why the right brake light is like that. Also, the right rear turn signal does the same thing. Next, my right turn signal doesn't blink at all at the dash, plus the windshield wipers, cruise control don't work either. I was wondering if it was the lever that controls that which is messed up, I don't know. Could you help me out thanks.

HI JERMANE,LETS START OUT WITH THE BRAKE LIGHT, THE PROBLEM YOU HAVE IS EITHER A GROUND PROBLEM AT THE RIGHT SOCKET OR THE BULB IS SHORTED OUT..I WOULD TRY A NEW BULLB ON THE BULB THAT IS DIM,IF THE SAME PROBLEM IS THERE, RUN A GROUND WIRE TO THE GROUND SIDE OF THAT SOCKET OR TOUCH THE METAL CASE OF THE BULB WHEN IT IS IN THE SOCKET. IF IT IS A GROUND PROBLEM THIS SHOULD CAUSE THE BRAKE LIGHT AND TURN SIGNAL TO GET BRIGHT [CORRECT CANDLE POWER AS THE LEFT SIDE. WHENEVER THERE IS A DIM LIGHT ALWAYS SUSPECT A FAULTY GROUND OR NO GROUND TO THAT SOCKET. ALSO THE LIGHT BULB THAT YOU CHECKED WILL HAVE 2 FILIMENTS ONE FOR THE PARKING LIGHT[DIM SIDE] AND THE OTHER FILIMENT WILL BE FOR THE TURN SIGNAL AND BRAKE LIGHT.[THE BRIGHT SIDE. THIS IS NORMAL. IF YOU TURN YOUR PARKING LIGHTS ON ALONG WITH THE BRAKE LIGHT BOTH FILIMENTS IN THE BULB WILL LIGHT IF WORKINNG CORRECT. AGAIN ONE DIM AND ONE BRIGHT. THIS WILL ALSO CAUSE THE LIGHT NOT TO LIGHT UP ON THE DASH. THE BEST WAY TO CK THIS IS TURN YOUR FOUR WAY FLASHERS ON AND WALK AROUND THE CAR AND CK FOR ALL THE BULBS TO WORK CORRECTLY. [CORRECT CANDLE POWER,] THEY SHOULD BE THE SAME FROM LEFT TO RIGHT,IF ONE IS DIM CK THE GROUND OR SOCKET AND BULB.ALSO WITH THE FOUR WAYS ON SEE IF THE DASH SIGNAL LIGHT LIGHT UP. IT SHOULD. NOW FOR THE WIPER PROBLEM, HAVE YOU CHECKED ALL THE FUSES ??IF NOT DO SO. IF ALL THE FUSES ARE OK YOU WILL NEED TO GET A 12 VOLT TEST LIGHT AND CK FOR POWER AT THE WIPER MOTOR. IF YOU CAN SEE THE POWER CHANGE FROM HIGH TO LOW ON THE WIRES AND YOU HAVE A GOOD GROUND EITHER THE WIPER MOTOR IS BAD OR THE LINKAGE IS BOUND UP.IF NOT POWER, THEN WE HAVE WIRING PROBLEMS UNDER THE DASH IN MAIN HARNESS. THIS SHOULD KEEP YOU BUSY FOR A WHILE. LET ME KNOW HOW YOU MAKE OUT WITH THIS AND THEN WE WILL GET TO THE CRUISE PROBLEM. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU TO THIS POINT,,,,TOM..
