Answer
HI JAMIE,FIRST OFF THERE IS NO FUEL SHUT OFF VALVE RESET ON YOUR CHEVY.. THERE IS ON FORDS CALL A INERTIA SWITCH. DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE IT IS A FUEL PROBLEM ??? I WILL ASSUME YOU DO..I WOULD SUGGEST CHECKING FOR POWER AND GROUND AT THE FUEL PUMP PLUG BY THE TANK ITSELF.IF THERE IS POWER THERE WHILE CRANKING OVER AND GROUND, WIRES ARE OK..THERE SHOULD BE POWER AT THE PUMP WHILE CRANKING OVER AND 2 TO 3 SECONDS AFTER RELEASING THE KEY...IF THERE IS NOT POWER THERE OR GROUND I WOULD GO TO THE DOOR THAT GOT HIT AND LIFT UP THE ROCKER PANEL COVER UNDER THE DOOR AND CK TO SEE IF THERE IS A WIRING HARNESS. IF SO OPEN THE HARNESS AND CK FOR ANY PINCHED WIRES...REMEMEBER FUEL PUMP NEEDS POWER AND GROUND...MAIN POWER TO PUMP SHOULD BE A GREY WIRE,GROUND IS BLACK..I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU....
