Chevrolet Repair: Changing driving light, lamp identification, headlight housings

Question
My owners manual guides me through changing lamps on the back of my suburban but no help on replacing a driving lamp inside the headlight component.  This is a 2007 model.  Is this issue require a certified dealership?  If not please guide me through removing the headlamp cover and replacing the lamp.  I also need the lamp identification numbers.  Thanks for this service. Gary

Answer
HI GARY, RAISE YOUR HOOD AND PULL THE 2 HEADLIGHT RETAINERS CLIPS STRAIGHT UP, THEY WILL BE  ON THE TOP BACK SIDE OF HOUSING. PULL HARD. THIS WILL RELEASE THE HEADLIGHT HOUSINGS AND THEN YOU CAN GET AT THE RUNNING LAMPS,UNDER THEM.. MAKE SURE YOU REPLACE WITH THE SAME # BULB. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU,IF YOU NEED MORE INFO GET BACK TO ME..THANK YOU,,TOM..
