Chevrolet Repair: ignition, 2006 chevy trailblazer, chevy trailblazer

I have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer and my ignition got jammed and it would not move at all. I replaced the ignition cylinder but now the car will not start.

HI BRUCE,YOUR CAR WILL NOT START NOW BECAUSE THERE IS A THEFT DETERENT SYSTEM IN IT.. YOU MAY NEED TO TAKE THIS CAR TO THE DEALER AND HAVE THEM PROGRAM IT..BUT BEFORE YOU DO THAT,MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED AND TURN THE IGNITION ON [KEY ON] AND LEAVE IT ON FOR 2O MINUTES. THIS MAY OR MAY NOT RELEARN BY ITSELF. I AM NOT AT WORK TODAY SO I HAVE NO SPECS AVAL TO ME...
