Chevrolet Repair: overheating, waterpump, coolant


Question
I have a 2000 cavalier seems like the coolant is not flowing through the system.The radiator is not heating up. Is it the waterpump or the thermostat thanks

HI JOEY,I WOULD SUSPECT A BAD T-STAT IT IS MORE THEN LIKELY STUCK OPEN.THE COOLANT IS FLOWING BUT TO MUCH..IF IT WERE THE WATERPUMP IT WOULD BE OVERHEATING,THE FINS ON THE PUMP WOULD BE GONE AND IT WOULD FOR SURE OVERHEAT..
