Chevrolet Repair: master cylinder clutch, clutch master cylinder, clutch fork

Question
95cheyenne2500.master clutch cylinder rod bent.replaced with plastic cylinder and it cracked and started leaking when we bled air out and started getting clutch pressure.need possible cause

Answer
HI DAVID, I HAVE SEEN ONCE IN A BLUE MOON THE SLAVE CYLINDER LOCKS UP,CAUSING A TON OF PRESSURE ON THE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER,BREAKING IT.. HOWEVER THE MORE COMMON PROBLEM IS THE CLUTCH FORK THAT MOVES THE THROW OUT BEARING INTO THE CLUTCH PRESSURE PLATE IS LOCKED UP ON THE CLUTCH SHAFT. I THINK ON THIS TRUCK CAN'T YOU TAKE THE SLAVE CYLINDER OFF AT THE BELL HOUSING ??? IF SO REMOVE IT WITH THE FLUID LINE ATTACHED TO IT AND TRY TO BLEED THE SYSTEM LIKE THAT [VERY SLOW TO SEE IF THE SLAVE CYLINDER IS MOVING.] IF SO THE PROBLEM IS IN THE CLUTCH FORK,IT IS LOCKED IN PLACE OR POSSIBLE PRESSURE PLATE PROBLEM.. PLEASE RATE THIS ANSWER FOR ME, IT WILL HELP. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP DROP ME ANOHTER LINE. GLAD TO HELP YOU TOM.
