Chevrolet Repair: 1990 chevy Cheyenne 350 tbi c1500, fuel pressure regulator, coolant temp

Question
QUESTION: So when I start my truck it will run really great no problems well maybe 10 mins later it will flood out when I slow down to stop or idle. Then I can let it sit for like 20 mins and it will do all that all over again. Now if I try to start it right after it floods it will shoot down a stream of gas instead of a mist. Any help

ANSWER: HI JACE,THIS COULD BE A FEW THINGS, A STICKY THROTTLE INJECTOR,FAULTY COOLANT TEMP SENSOR MAKING THE PCM THINK ITS ALWAYS COLD NEEDING MORE FUEL. SCAN THIS ENGINE TO CK THIS SENSOR.
SHORTED O2 SENSORS MAKING THE PCM THINK ITS VERY LEAN..THE THE LAST PROBLEM THAT I CAN THINK OF IS A BAD PCM...HOPE THIS HELPS.GET BACK TO ME WITH MORE INFO IF NEEDED.TOM......

QUESTION: Ok it can't be the injector because I replaced those. And I think it does have to do with the temp. Because when it floods it smokes out this whole in the TBI right next to the carburetor holes. I think a vacuum hole. I don't know? And I have replaced a few sensors like napa, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and I'm not sure what this ones called but it tells you were your foot gas pedal is at.

Answer
HI JACE,THE HOLE IS FOR THE IDLE AIR CONTROL MOTOR TO GET AIR INTO THE SYSTEM.THIS SMOKE IS NORMAL WHEN THE ENGINE STALLS LIKE THIS. THE SENSOR YOU REPLACED WAS THE THROTTLE POSITIONING SENSOR OR [TPS]I REALLY FEEL THE BEST THING FOR YOU TO DO AT THIS POINT RATHER THEN THROWING PARTS AT THIS IS TO TAKE IT TO A SHOP WHERE THEY CAN SCAN THIS PCM. THIS WILL CK FOR SIGNALS TO THE SENSORS TO SEE IF THE PCM IS OK. THIS TO ME SOUNDS LIKE A FAULTY PCM !!! IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE IT IS SOMETHING AS STUPID AS A BAD GROUND CIRCUIT,HARD TO BELIEVE BUT I HAVE SEEN THIS.[[ THE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR NEEDS A 5 VOLT REFERENCE FROM THE PCM TO WORK CORRECTLY TO FEED BACK CORRECT INFO.]] AFTER YOU GET THIS SCANNED GET BACK TO ME...TOM.
