Chevrolet Repair: 1990 3.1L v6 Camaro rs, fuel pressure regulator, vacuum lines

Question
The car turns over starts and then either idles horribly or instantly turns off or both. i have changed the map sensor, idle control, and throttle control checked vacuum lines and tested the fuel pump and spark plugs checked the fuel injectors and polished up some other pieces. i have heard rumors of the ignition module but its hit or miss from what i have read. if you can help that would be great!

Answer
TRAVIS THERE ARE NUMEROUS ITEMS THAT COULD BE CAUSING YOUR PROBLEMS,I AM LEANING TOWARDS 2 HOW EVER.THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR IS ONE AND YES U COULD HAVE A BAD IGNITION MODULE.I WOULD REMOVE THE MODULE AND TURN IT OVER AND LOOK FOR A CRACK TO WHERE MOISTURE COULD BE GETTING IN AND CAUSING A MISFIRE AND IF THAT IS THE CASE YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE BURN MARKS FROM THE SPARK JUMPING AROUND.THE THIRD THING COULD BE A BAD COIL.GOOD LUCK AND LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES.
