Chevrolet Repair: air conditioner, A/C Leak

I inherited a pickup from my uncle. He had not used the air conditioner in the three years he owned it. I had the ac charged since it was not putting out any cold  air. For two months the ac worked fine when I occassionally used it but now it is losing cooling power. Any suggestions as to what repairs might be needed and the possible costs.  Thank you.

There are several possible causes. The best thing would have a shop recharge your system and add a dye to it. The dye can be seen using a black light, Beware of shops that require you to replace everything, Compressor, evaporator, condenser, etc. a good shop will replace the affected part and flush the system.
