Chevrolet Repair: CHEVY BLAZER 2000 HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT, heater core replacement, chevy blazer

Question
HOW DO I REPLACE THE HEATER CORE?

Answer
This is not an easy task.  I've been doing this stuff for a long time and still takes about two days on the newer model blazers.  First you will need to drain the coolant, and recover the A/C system.  Next remove the front seats and console(if applicable) then remove the Air Bags, Steering column, radio, a/c control head, then the entire dashboard assembly.  After that has been removed, you will need to remove the heater box from the truck.  Then unscrew all the 7/32 bolts from the box and separate the heater box, then replace the core.  Reverse the process for installation
