Chevrolet Repair: power brake booster message, chevy duramax, power brake booster

I recently had to put a dash in my 04 Chevy Duramax so I found a used dash out of a salvage pickup and put it in and when I start the vehicle the service power brake booster message comes up it was not on prior to putting in the used dash and it doesn't have any brake malfunctions is there a way to clear that code?

there's no way to clear it unless you have a pinched wire or broken terminal. if the message is there, you may have gotten the wrong dash, especially if your truck didnt come with power brake booster.  check your truck versus the donor truck to see if they have the same options
