Chevrolet Repair: Wipers, coloum, wiper switch

Question
I have a 95 C1500, 350ci  auto 2wd. The problem is when I went to turn the
wipers on nothing happened, I have checked the fuse, it's OK. This is where it
gets weird, if I pulse the switch on/off my stereo will turn off momentarily.
A couple of years ago I had the wiper motor replaced at the dealership(  
There was a recall and mine would quit working in the rain!) Any clue? If it is
the switch do I have to replace the whole indicator/wiper stick or is there a
switch attached to the column behind the wheel? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.Thanks

hi Eric... wiper switch is in the coloum...you have to take the cover off around the coloum to get at the switch... check to see if you have power comming to the switch, turn wipers on and make sure the stick hasn't broke off inside the switch... if it's ok and you have power to it,replace the switch....hope this helps
