Chevrolet Repair: 1999 express 1500 chevy van, chevy van, cam sensor

have  A 99 VAN 4.3 W WAS WET IN CAP REPLACED cam sensor cap and rotor then was still missing so swapped sensor back out but wont start now was wondering what else i could have affected my scan tool is showing no faults now but the timing degrees is at 0 was at 19 - 0 before thought i might have shorted out something all fuses and relays look ok has spark and fuel pressure but wont hit like out of time ??????thanks Aaron

Hi Aaron... base timing is at 0 computer controls it once you turn engine over...by chance did you flood engine...if you think you could have you will need to clear the flood...remove plugs and clean and dry...reinstall and hold your foot on the floor when cranking...once you get it running you may have to change the oil as it will be contamited with the excess fuel and will affect the O2  sensor...if you still have a miss look at the wires see if you have a bad one, or maybe bad plug...plugged inj could also cause a miss, try a good inj cleaner....hope this helps
