Chevrolet Repair: No low beam on CK1500 4x4 1997, daytime running lights, low beams

DLR lights  work but when i switch to headlights and put on the brights and then return to low beams the low beams do not work.  I have to switch back to DLR lights.  Any suggestions?  Are the DLR lights the low beams or are they not as bright?

Hi Elden... Do you mean driving lights or daytime running lights...DRL should be auto, they come on when you start the truck and stay on all the time.should be able to switch to high and low without a problem. If it's driving lights on a seperate switch then thats different. when they are turned on they should disable low beam. and should come back when you turn them off....if it's a problem in the driving lights i would look at the running light module or a problem in the circut....if it's the daytime running lights the same applies, look at the module...hope this helps
