Chevrolet Repair: 2000 Chevy Blazer, 4wd auto, chevy blazer

Question
Has push button 4wd but won't shift into 4hi or lo. I can hear it try but the 4wd auto keeps flashing and it stays in 2wd. I don't have a owners manual, is there somthing I'm doing wrong.

The 4wd light is flashing because the feedback system of the transfer case actuator is not working correctly.  There could be a problem with the transfer case actuator motor.  It will have to be scanned for codes with a TECH2 to be accurately diagnosed.
