Chevrolet Repair: upper bushings, bench vise, chevy k2500

i have a 97 chevy k2500 4x4 my front upper bushings need to be replaced and i have my a arm already off the truck but cant seem to get the bushings out. any help would be great thank you

Hey,

 I use a ball joint press and adapters but you probably don't have access to one.  YOu can borrow one from most Parts Source places or ask the place you bought the bushings from.
 Another cheater way is to use sockets and a bench vise.  If you email me at waynehowie@rogers.com i can draw you and picture on how to do it.  I don't think I can explain it properly without.
