Chevrolet Repair: Right Blinker blinks fast, blinker bulbs, cargo van

Question
Chevy 2004 2500 Cargo Van - My right turn signal blinks twice as fast as the left and my right rear blinker bulb will not blink.  I checked the bulb and it is fine.  (I swapped both rear blinker bulbs and it worked on the left side.  And the left bulb did not work when inserted into the right side.) Also the front right bulb does work, but it is also twice as fast.  I checked all the fuses under the hood and under the driver's seat.  [I only had one bad fuse (TSB2 I think) but it only fixed my dome lights that previously would not come on.

Any suggestions?  THANKS!

Answer
Heya,

Make sure you have the correct bulb in the circuit and check all of the connections. Look very closely at the socket and grip the new bulb pushing it back and forth. They seem to be having some issues with rear circuit boards melting so try and flex it a bit with the bulb in and the signal on. The bulb will slow down when the connection is good. It really sounds like a connection at that socket.  check the wiring diagram for a hidden groudn.
