Chevrolet Repair: Heating Problem, motor actuator, motor temperature

Question
2001 Chev Blazor I have no heat coming out of my vents. The motor temperature is fine the blower is blowing air. Also I can control the direction of the air just not heat. Thank you so much,
Zach

Answer
Hey,

It could be a malfunctioning blend door motor actuator.  They fail quite frequently. The blend door servo controls the position of the flap that directs heat around the core and the Evaporator.  If this motor is not letting the programmer know where it is or is stripped it will not have heat or no control over heat.
