Chevrolet Repair: 92 Chevy K1500 Blazer 5.7 will not stay running, k1500 blazer, blazer 5

While driving my 92 Blazer 5.7 V8 fuel injected Silverodo it just stopped/died. I restarted it right away went four blocks died again. Restarted again pulled off the street just in time died again. had it towed home.

Now, all this time no back firing, no missing, no warning, and even right now it starts right up. However, it runs for a few minutes and goes dead again.

Today I changed the fuel filter and the problem is still the same. It has 3/4 tank of gas filled two days before. Battery six months old. Like I said starts right up but will not stay running. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Hey,

 ITs either spark or fuel that your engine is starving of and the two most common causes on that vehicle are either the fuel pump in the tank or the ignition module in the distributor.  Check the coil for spark.  If it does have spark give the tank a boot with your heal and see if it starts then.
