the problem im having is intermittent hard starting.will start eventually.ive primed the throttle body with fuel and
it doses start.but takes time for the car to run on its own
fuel pressure is normal.temp senor was reading at 61 degrees.check injector pattern with vantage seems to drop
out not a steady pattern as your cranking.iv also checked
the pattern when the problem was no there by removing the
fuel relay.pattern was simular.seems to be fuel related
not sure at this time.also could play with ignition switch
and get it started,but not everytime.replace switch.no luck with that

Hey,

  I hate to take you off the road of the current direction you are going but I would suggest inspecting the magnetic reluctance wheel on the distributor shaft.  They are bad for slipping back on the spline and retarding the ignition timing.  Are you checking the injector pattern with a low amp probe or voltmeter?  what exactly is the fuel pressure? The vortec engines need a minium of 55psi to start because of the poppet style injectors.  Not a pound lower than 55.
