Chevrolet Repair: No Power 1988 Chevy Camaro 2.8L V6, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

Question
Ok this one is an interesting one. I started out with no power and could barely get over 30 miles an hour. since then I replaced the fuel filter, it had good fuel pressure and volume. I also replaced the timing chain and water pump. The mass air flow sensor, ignition module, distributor cap and rotor and the o2 snesor are also new. I have also replaced the cat converter. The timing is also correct. I do have some power back but not enough to start driving it on the road again. Any ideas? Am I missing something obvious?

Answer
Hi Zach... check to see if you have spark advance. another check would be a compression check...all cyl should be with in 10% of each other. is maybe the muffler plugged, was converter you took off still full or did it break up and end up in the muffler.... hope this helps
