Chevrolet Repair: Brakes, caliper piston, brake pads

I changed my brake pads and now they are smoking. I took them off and put them back on again. But they still continue to smoke when I hit about 60 MPH Please help!

Hello Jennifer,
When you pushed the caliper piston in, did it go all the way, or did it possibly push against some rust and crud?
That should have caused a little problem getting the caliper back over the rotor, but may be holding the pads too tightly against the rotor.
