will a motor from a 1994 s-10 blazer 4.3 vortec fit in my 1997 blazer

Hi Merle,

It will fit, however use as much of the old motor as possible.  Use your intake, fuel system, wire harness, etc.  1994 is OBD-1 and 1997 is OBD-2.  1997 is more advanced in the computer system.  As far as the core block and internals, they shoud be the same.  But swap as much as possible from your motor.
